Thank you for visiting our goats web page!
Raising dairy goats from 2004, our main focus is Nubians or Nubian crosses. In our herd you'll find Grade, American and purebred Nubians, as well as mixed breeds, mini's and Kinders. Although we breed mainly for milk production we also consider temperament, and breed standards. We do not show our goats, yet try to breed for show quality. Our goats are fed a ration of whole oats, rolled barley, black oil sunflower seeds and free choice alfalfa hay, as well as pasture and browse.

Does

The Rawe's Esther
Sire: Nubilop-Acres Red Perfecto Dam: The Rawe's Flika Breed: AM Nubian N001430719 DOB: March 2004
Esther is one of the few does I will keep a buck out of. She has a very nicely attached udder and good milk production. Generally peaking at 10-11 lbs a day, her average yield is between 5 and 6 1/2 lbs a day for a 300 day lactation, usually bringing in between 1500 - 1800 lbs in a 305 day lacation. Unfortunately she did develop a case of mastitis in 2007 which caused her to go lopsided. We are milking her through 2012, her next planed kidding will be for spring 2013.

El Lomah Scarlet Victory

Sire: Nubilop-Acres Jacob Dam: The Rawe's Esther Breed: AM NUBIAN N001433753 DOB: Feb. 2008

Scarlet impressed me by milking her first freshening through 18 months, and will most likely become one of our 2 year milkers. Her second freshening she was only milked out 320 days producing just shy of 1700 lbs. Udder pictures are from her first freshening, her attachments remain low but wide. Bred to Captain for March 2012 Kids.

El Lomah Itty Bitty
Sire: Nubilop-Acres Jacob Dam: The Rawe's Beth Breed: AM NUBIAN N001521610 DOB: March 2009

Itty Bitty was a first freshener this last milking season (2011). She peaked at just over 7lbs and brought in just under 1400 lbs in a 300 day lacation. She is more like her dam Rawe's Beth then her half sister El Lomah Ruth. I really love her long ears and dainty dairy character. She is bred to Captain for March 2012 kids.

El Lomah's Ruth

Sire: Nubilop-Acres Wild Card Dam: The Rawe's Beth Breed: AM NUBIAN N001433750 DOB: July 2005

Ruth was one of the first kids born in our herd, and carried through All the flashy color of her sire, And she has a nice udder to match. Her peak is about 9-10lbs, but she holds it for a nice long time. Bred to Captain for March 2012 Kids.

El Lomah's Luna

Sire: Ozark Jewels Captain Dam: El Lomah's Ruth Breed: AM NUBIAN Paperwork Pending DOB: March 2011

I've very happy to have finally have a spot in the herd to keep one of Captain's daughters. It will be interesting to see what his side will bring out. Luna has kept up with the faster growth rates Ozarks linage has brought in, now let’s see if she can match it in the milk pail. Unfortunately I kept missing her cycles in Oct. so she will be held out for a Dec 2012 / Jan 2013 kidding.

Latte

Latte was purchased as a 3-year-old in 2006, we have no paper work on her, but we're told she is an Alpine/Nubian cross.

She is very timid laid back doe. Peaks normally at 11-12lbs in milk, and is one of our 2-year milkers. Last lacation (1st time as a 2 year milker) Latte gave us just shy of 2,600lbs over 17 months in milk. She is always bred back to a purebred buck for registerable grade kids. Her next kidding is planed for spring 2013.

El Lomah's Mya Niobe

Sire: Nubilop-Acres Jacob Dam: Latte Breed: Grade NUBIAN N001540911 DOB: March 2010

Mya will be the second daughter we've kept out of Latte, the first Chammy, we had to sell due to too many goats at once. She was a very good milker peaking at 8+lbs as a first freshener. I'm hoping Mya will help bring in some larger milk quantities to the herd. She is bred to Captain for Feb. 2012 Kids for her first freshening.

Ozark Jewels Jazzmyn

Sire: J2K Capraio Giovanni's Galileo Dam: No-Doubt CH Crystle Breed: Purebred Nubian N001511264 DOB: Jan. 2009

I was very happy to have the opportunity to bring in some new herd linage and Jazz was one of those goats. I love the fast growth and larger built goats that Ozark linage is bringing into our herd. Not too shabby a milk production either - Jazz peaked at 7+lbs her second freshening, milking out just under 1400 lbs in a 270 day lactation. Jazz is bred to Jacob for Feb. 2012 Kids. Hopefully I'll be able to add some better pictures of her this spring.

El Lomah's Ezmeralda Jade

Sire: Nubilop-Acres Jacob Dam:Ozark Jewels Jazzmyn Breed: Purebred NUBIAN Paperwork Pending DOB: March 2011

Crossing Nubilop-Acres linage with Ozrak Jewels is my plan to hopefully bring out the larger milk quantities from Nubilop with the build and growth of Ozarks. Jade, as well as Luna, are part of the frist few trails. Unfortunately, I kept missing heat cycles on these girls so they will be held back for Dec. 2012 / Jan. 2013 kiddings.

Ozark Jewels African Marina

Sire:J2K Capraio Limosine's Triumph Dam:Ozark Jewels Kenya Breed: Purebred NUBIAN N001511266 DOB: Jan. 2009

I am still anxiously awaiting a solid milk production from Marina. Another Ozark doe, and now the largest in our herd. She has just had a bad streak for milking. Aborting her first year without coming into milk - Her first freshening she kidded out with a very congested udder, which then resulted in mastitis. For fear of stretching her out lopsided I dried her off early. She is a large framed doe, but oh so laid back and such a sweet heart. For her second freshening she is bred to Captain for March 2012 Kids. Hopefully I'll get some better pictures of her up this spring.

Naomi
Naomi was purchased from the same herd (same time) as Latte - a 3-year-old in 2006, she is a Saanen/Nubian cross. One of our heaviest milkers peaking at 13-15lbs a day. We are currently milking Naomi through every other year for kiddings once every 2 years. I don't offer bucks out of Naomi because she is unpapered, and naturally lopsided in her udder. She is a real sweet heart but starting to show her age. I will be retaining kids out of her 2013 kidding. She milks an average of 3600 lbs in a 20 month milking.

El Lomah's Sunshine

Sire:Nubilop-Acres Jacob Dam: Naomi Breed: Grade NUBIAN N001447570 DOB: Feb. 2008

Sunshine, out of Naomi has an almost carbon coppy of an udder, with the benifit of being even unlike her dam. Her second freshening she milked out about 1500 lbs in a 250 day lacation. I am still hoping for an increasing in production in her 3rd freshening. She is bred to Captain for Feb. 2012 Kids.

Mini Does

The Long's Katie-dyd

Sire: Bilrite NT Tokamak Dam: El Lomah Sunshine Breed: Kinder 1st Gen
Paperwork pending
DOB: April 2009

Katie is the granddaughter of Naomi, out of Sunshine. Even though her sire and dam were registered we were unable to register Katie because of the uneven cross of Nubian, Saanen and Pygmy. If you wanted to fraction it out it comes to be 5/8 Nubian, 1/4 Pygmy, 1/8 Saanen. She has the build of a larger mini - standing at 26+" tall at the withers, and maturing out at about 120#, but she milks like a standard breed. Katie peaked in her first freshening at over 7lbs, milking at over 1400lbs in the first 300 days. Because Katie was still milking a quart a day in Dec. (2011) we decided to milk her through the first year. She is also the first daughter out of Tokamok that we've seen in milk.

Pixie

Pixie is 1st Generation Mini Nubian from our 2007 kidding season. Unfortunately I was never able to get the paperwork for her Sire so she remains unregistered. Her Granddam is The Rawe's Esther, and Grandsire Nubilop-Acres Jacob. She has a nice size production for a mini, peaking at 6-7 lbs, she milked out over 1100lbs in a 260 day lactation in her 3rd freshening. I really like her fore udder, but her rear attachments are narrow. She has a very fun perky personality, and extra creamy milk. Pixie is bred to JJ for March 2012 kidding.

Bilrite RS Spot

Sire: Bramble Patch Kinder Riversun Dam: Bilrite RX Synergy Breed: Kinder - 3rd Gen. DOB: March 2006

Spoty surprised us and gave us our first ever set of quints in 2010. She is true to her Kinder breed in producing extra cream and sweet milk. Peaking around 5.5 - 6.5lbs, producting about an average of 850-900lbs in a 300 day lactaion.

The Long's Alice The Long's Elsie
Sire: Bilrite NT Tokamak Dam: Bilrite RS Spot Breed: Kinder 4th Gen. DOB: March 2010

Twin sisters out of Spot's quints. Both does are bred to our new buck Judo for 2012 kids.

The Long's Lollie-Pop
Sire: The Long's Jumping Jack Dam: Bilrite RS Spot Breed: 4th Gen. Kinder DOB: Jan. 2011

Lollie-pop will be our first doe to freshen out of JJ. He has always thrown nicely painted kids. His dam - Pistachio was a good milker too, but short lived to see what her overall development would have been like. Lollie-pop is bred for her first freshening to our new buck Judo for March 2012 kids.

Bucks

Nubilop-Acres Jacob
Sire: Blue Thunder Sequoia Dam: Nubilop-Acres Ribbons Breed: PB NUBIAN N001397374 DOB: Feb. 2005

Jacob has a nice structure and comes from good linage. And his daughters are milking well. My only complaint is that his kids do seam to be on the slower growing side, taking their full 3-years to mature.

Ozark Jewels Captain
Sire: J2K Capaio Limosine's Triumph Dam: No-Doubt RM Mulberry Breed: Purebred NUBIAN N001515945 DOB: Jan. 2009

Captain was another addition to our herd from Ozarks linage in 2009. I really love his build and fast growth, topping out at 35+" at the withers he is our largest buck. His daughter Luna will be a first freshener in 2012, so we can get a glimps of what his linage will bring out.

Bilrite NT Tokamak
Sire: Zederkamm K&F's Nautilus Dam: Beauty Mountain Mighttime Mischief Breed: Kinder 4th Gen. DOB:

Tokamok hast to be one of the gentlest bucks out there. Although a great escape artist, also a real sweet heart. So far Katie is the only doe we've had freshen out of him. 2012 will show us more of what he is bringing out in his daughters. He does have wattles - hidden in all that hair, and occasionally gives them to his kids as well (Elsie).

The Long's Jumping Jack
Sire: Bilrite NT Tokamak Dam: Bilrite RX Pistachio Breed: Kinder 5th Gen. DOB: April 2007

Jumping Jack - or JJ as we call him - Tokamok's son, every bit as sweet but more laid back then his sire. Unfortunately his dam died during her first freshening so we were unable to really see what kind of milk production she had. He does however come from milky lines. His daughter Lollie pop will be the first we'll see freshen in 2012.

Judo
After only having 2 kinder bucks, related at that, and wanting to keep more does I finally located another herd in Topeka KS. Judo came to our herd Spring 2011. He was bred to 3 of our does for 2012 kids. Right now he is a little smaller then I like to see standing at 22" tall and weighing out at 80lbs. But still young and growing. It will be a few years though before I am able to keep one of his daughters. Paperwork Pending.
